How it works

As a central component of the LIFE DIMITRA project, the Knowledge Exchange Multi-Stakeholders Platform (KESP) is designed to foster effective communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among key stakeholders involved in digestate valorisation and sustainable agriculture.

Purpose and Objectives

  • Disseminate project results and outputs to relevant target groups.
  • Facilitate extensive knowledge exchange among stakeholders including farmers, researchers, industry representatives, policymakers, and public bodies.
  • Promote consultation, networking, and the creation of synergies within the bioeconomy and agri-food sectors.
  • Support the wider replication and market adoption of digestate-based fertilisation solutions.

Key Features and Structure

  • User Profile Section: Enables users to create personalized accounts, define their stakeholder category, and customize their experience based on interests and roles (e.g., farmer, policymaker, academic, industry).
  • Library: Acts as a repository of project documents, scientific publications, technical guidelines, policy briefs, and educational materials, offering easy access to all relevant resources.
  • Forum: A moderated discussion space where stakeholders can exchange insights, ask questions, and initiate collaborative dialogue on digestate management, circular agriculture, policy, and market issues.
  • News & Events: Keeps users updated on project milestones, relevant EU and national events, stakeholder meetings, workshops, and training activities.
  • Feedback Form: Allows users to provide suggestions, report issues, and contribute to the platform’s continuous improvement.

Impact and Legacy

KESP not only supports the real-time execution of the project but also serves as a long-term digital asset for continued collaboration beyond the project’s lifespan. It strengthens stakeholder networks, accelerates innovation diffusion, and ensures that project outcomes contribute meaningfully to climate-friendly agricultural transitions across Europe.
